Coconut Chutney

Ingredients
Coconut    -    1cup
Bengal Gram    -    2tbsps
Shallots    -    4
Green Chillies    -    1 to 2
Salt    -     to taste

Method
First grind the coconut and bengal gram together.
Then add the green chillies and shallots and grind them

Slowly  then add water to get a paste like consistency and grind it for another 1 minute

The texture of the chutney should be of a fine paste.

Optional:Temper the chutney with mustard seeds and curry leaves

This is also called as 'getty chutney' in tamil and goes well with Dosa and  Idly.
